In a very simple way, mindset can be defined as the way we think. Mindset is therefore what matters most, whether you want to get better results in your personal life, in sports or in business. Modeling next generation entrepreneurs and conscious leaders such as Elon MUSK, Steve JOBS and many others, allowed to identify a clear set of qualities of mindset that produced those results.

What is mindset ?
Mindset can be defined as the way we think. It is influenced by many factors, including our beliefs and our values. Mindset is also directly linked to our inner state (the way we feel), each one influencing the other.
After decades of research, world-renowned Stanford University psychologist Carol S. DWECK, Ph.D., has showed how success in school, work, sports, the arts, and almost every area of human endeavor can be dramatically influenced by how we think about our talents and abilities.
People with a fixed mindset—those who believe that abilities are fixed—are less likely to flourish than those with a growth mindset—those who believe that abilities can be developed.
What is the difference that makes the difference ?
As Tony ROBBINS says, “success leaves clues.” So if you want better results in any area of your life, a great question to ask yourself is “what is the difference that makes the difference ?“.
Modeling, a key area of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), is directly linked to this question.
Robert DILTS and his late brother John have actually developed is a methodology called “Success Factor Modeling”TM (SFM). The aim was to identify, understand and apply the critical success factors that drive successful people and organizations.
The SFM Circle of Success TM
Robert DILTS and Mickey FEHRER studied and interviewed hundreds of next generation entrepreneurs and conscious leaders. It includes Elon MUSK, Steve JOBS, Richard BRANSON, Anita RODDICK, Muhammed YUNUS and many others. They all had built sustainable ventures that were both purpose driven and profitable.
Examining the different levels of success factors has led to the model called the SFM Circle of Success TM.
This model includes all key parties involved for a successful venture: oneself (the founder), the team, the clients, the partners/alliances and the stakeholders/investors.
The Success MindsetmapsTM
They also found out that there was a clear set of qualities of mindset that produced those results. Different groupings of these qualities of mindset were more effective for reaching particular business results.
This is depicted in the Success MindsetMap™, an inventory which can be taken by any entrepreneur or leader who wants to find out how their mindset compares to some of the most successful business leaders in the world.
